What We Do

C3HD acts as an agent for change. For 5 years and in 4 states, we help women and children to overcome the massive problem they face by reducing inequality in accessing health services and education, responding to violence, and promoting food security, empowerment, peace, and building their resilience to respond to future hardships. We employ “the protective community-based approach” to our protection programs by establishing (where there is not) and strengthening existing community-based protection systems, and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond to Protection concerns particularly Child Protection and Gender Based Violence.

In the communities we work, we strive to reduce inequality while building women’s and children’s resilience so that they can withstand and adequately respond to future challenges.

We work across a diverse of thematic areas of Health and well-being, Education, Inequality and Protection, Peace Building, Economic recovery and Livelihood, and Environment and Climate Change
